Once you've got it downloaded, control-f find spur and it'll take you to some cool stuff about buckles and such, as well as the discussion of the spurs in the drawings. (The Viking stuff is all in a separate book that isn't downloadable (http://www.jorvikshop.com/product_info.php?pid=721), but I think these are the spurs you want.)

I also did amazingly well just putting "spur 12th century" into google images. :) But watch the time and provenance -- too many rows down and you are in the 15th century quick.
